What to do if you have a stomach pain ?

Sudden stomach pain. Not sure if it's gastric or something else. You do not understand what medicine to take, who to go to. A decision has to be made based on the exact location, type of abdominal pain, associated symptoms, etc. There are necessary tests. First of all, it should be noticed that there is pain in the upper abdomen, not in the lower abdomen. If the pain is indicated with one finger, where is the point, left on it? Where is the pain coming from? Bitten because it is tickling, or burning? Whether there is vomiting, loss of appetite, bowel problems, etc. Does anything increase the rule on an empty stomach?

What kind of stomach pain can it cause?

1. Peptic ulcer or gastric pain usually starts in the upper middle of the abdomen. It grows on an empty stomach, sometimes with tingling, sometimes with a burning sensation. It can be accompanied by nausea, heartburn, flatulence etc. Antacids or other gastric medications provide considerable relief.

2.There may be pancreatitis in the same place or slightly to the left. But this pain is very intense, also felt in the back. The patient writhes in pain. Leaning forward is comfortable. May be accompanied by vomiting.

3.Pain in the upper right side of the abdomen may occur with inflammation of the gallbladder or stones. This pain also radiates to the right back, accompanied by vomiting. It increases especially when eating fatty foods. Inflammation of the liver also causes pain in the same area. Aching pain, accompanied by fever, jaundice, loss of appetite etc. indicate hepatitis or inflammation of the liver. If there is an abscess in the liver, this pain is intensified, accompanied by fever with chills.

4.If there is a stone, inflammation or infection in the right or left kidney in the upper part of the abdomen, there is pain on that side and back. This pain gradually goes down and spreads to the lower abdomen. Kidney pain is very intense, goes away for a while, comes again. There may be fever with vomiting, chills.

5.If the pain from the middle of the navel gradually spreads to the right side of the lower abdomen, there is pain when you put your hand there, the intensity gradually increases, then you have to think whether it is appendicitis or not.

6.Burning urine and fever with lower abdominal pain indicate a urinary tract infection. Women can have pain due to various problems of uterus and ovaries.

7.Common dysentery, food poisoning and indigestion cause abdominal pain. Nausea, stomach rumbling, diarrhea etc. Abdominal pain is also caused by constipation.

8.Prolonged abdominal pain with weight loss, anemia, weakness etc. are warning signs. Abdominal pain is also a symptom of colon cancer or TB. So don't underestimate stomach pain.
